Thrill-seekers are keeping their fingers crossed for fair weather on Sunday, June 4 to catch the Aero Fest Chapala, the second annual lakeside air show.
The main event, set to run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will feature more than 20 flying machines appearing in a spectacle of acrobatic tricks, with ideal viewing pinpointed along the new extension of the waterfront malecón bordering the newly refurbished Parque La Cristiania. Hot-shot Mexican pilot Ricardo Olea and U.S. sky-diver Brad Gorman are listed as the star performers.
Afterwards, watch demos of remote control model planes, cool off at a pool party set in the water slide area, or grab a bite and ice-cold craft beer in the food truck section.
