Chapala Mayor Javier Degollado González will present his second annual Informe de Gobierno (government report) to the constituency at a solemn session of the city council set for Tuesday, September 12, 6 p.m., at the Auditorio de la Ribera in La Floresta.
Denied a platform at the formal event in 2016 and again this year, opposition party Councilman Juan Carlos Pelayo Pelayo has scheduled an alternate report on behalf of the National Action Party (PAN) for the following evening, 7 p.m., at the Centro Cultural Antigua Presidencia (former town hall), Avenida Madero at Hidalgo.
Both activities are open to the public.
