Three state police officers suffered minor injuries when their patrol truck rolled over on the uphill lanes of the of highway leading from Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos to Chapala on Saturday, August 8.
The single vehicle crash occurred around 12:50 p.m.
According to preliminary information, the driver lost control due to a blowout of a front tire. However, several motorists traveling the same route report witnessing the patrol barreling past Ixtlahuacán at high speed shortly before it flipped over on the tarmac, landing on the driver’s side.
