The Ajijic Cabaret Troupe will star in “Festivus for the Rest of Us,” a benefit dinner show for the children of Programa Pro Niños Incapacitados del Lago scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 7 p.m., at El BarCo.

Tickets priced at 600 pesos may be paid in cash for pickup on November 21 or 22, 2 to 4 p.m. at El BarCo, Carretera Oriente 33-A, located just west of the central Ajijic Pemex station. Guests will be able to select their dinner entrées at that time.
Doors for the benefit will open a 6 p.m., allowing time to order snacks and drinks from the no-host bar before showtime. Appropriate clothing for the outdoor venue is recommended.
Niños Incapacitados is a registered non-profit civil association currently celebrating 50 years of humanitarian aid to local children afflicted with disabilities and severe ailments. The organization reimburses their families for expenses incurred in medical care, physical therapy and prescribed pharmaceuticals. Qualified transportation costs may also be covered.
Distinguished for operating with full transparency, accountability and diligent distribution of funds, around 96 percent of spending goes directly to the beneficiaries. The rest covers administrative expenses for required legal and accounting obligations.
