The rebuild of Chapala’s Avenida Madero is not the only public works game in town.
The second stage of the rehabilitation of Calle Miguel Martínez is also underway. On the stretch between Cinco de Mayo and Guerrero, new underground water and sewage lines have been installed and covered with a layer of stone to stabilize the foundation for resurfacing with cobblestones set in cement.
The last leg running all the way to Avenida González Gallo is projected for completion before the year is out.
