The publication of “Bravados,” a collection of stories by 21 local writers, will be launched at a Meet the Authors event taking place Thursday, December 7, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Lake Chapala Society south campus.
The anthology compiled by Ajijic weaving artist Janice Kimball explores the experiences of writers who have come to live in the Lake Chapala area, a place where new beginnings flourish.
These personal narratives will reveal heartfelt lessons learned, unexpected triumphs, and the challenges and benefits of rekindling their lives in the rich ambiance of Mexican culture in a diverse international community.
