Noreen D. Francis Cozzens was elected to the position of Commander of American Legion Post 7 Chapala, on June 12.
Retired as an Escrow Manager at a Law Firm in the Atlanta, Georgia area and arrived in the Lake Chapala area in March 2021.
Cozzens is a veteran of the U. S. Army, who served three years as a Personnel Administrative Clerk stationed in Pirmasens, Germany. She has been a member of Post 7 for two years and a member of the board for those both of those years.
She is also a dedicated volunteer at the Recycling Center in West Ajijic.
“I’m looking forward to serving the members of this post and making a difference in the community,” said Cozzens.
