Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre Curiel is scheduled to deliver his annual Informe de Gobierno on Thursday, September 25, at 5 p.m. at the Centro para la Cultura y las Artes on the highway in La Floresta.
The state of the municipality address will review government activities and accomplishments during Aguirre’s 2024-2025 term in office, his fourth consecutive year as Chapala’s chief executive.
The mayor will discuss local government services, programs, and public works, with his presentation enhanced by large screen video projections. He is expected to highlight support for the police force and public safety measures under his leadership, as well as the ongoing rehabilitation of Cristianía Park and the tourism traffic circuit financed by the state of Jalisco.
Members of the Cabildo (city council), department heads, city hall employees, representatives of expat organizations, neighboring municipalities and authorities from state agencies will be seated at the presentation. All constituents are also welcome to attend.
