Owners of Mexican-plated cars who missed out on the 30-percent discount on their annual registration fee (refrendo) offered during the first three months of the year have until May 31 to get 15 percent off the tax.
In June and July the full cost of 435 pesos must be paid. Fines will be levied from August on. The fee may be paid online at https://gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/pagoenlinea/index.jsp, most banks, and in Oxxo, 7-11, Comercial Mexicana and Soriana stores.
