After its recent election, the American Society of Jalisco (AMSOC) has a new 13-member board of directors for 2024.
The board comprises Keaunis Arreola, Wally Cole, Mercy Duenas, Cam Esser, Ellen Fritz, Angela Fuentes, Sofia Motamedi, Bruce Newby, Eliza Osher, Leslie Rutledge, Maria Soileau, Mike Sump and Christine Walker. While Cliff Esser was selected for the board, receiving nearly the highest number of votes, he decided to decline the position and allow a younger candidate to take his slot. He has promised to remain active in the society.
Typically, the board meets in open session on the second Tuesday of the month, at 10:30 a.m. The new board will decide whether this continues or will be at a different time. Board meetings are open to all members.
