Dessie Lee Rider, after a long illness, passed away at her home in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico on June 7 at the age of 63.
She was born November 10, 1949. She and her husband retired to Chapala in 2007.
Dessie is survived by her husband of 40 years John Rider. She is also survived by her son, Chad Rider and his children, Cheyenne, Angela, and Ryan, as well as her mother Dolores Fayette and her brothers Robert Fayette and Joseph Fayette all of Ferndale, Washington. Additionally, she is survived by her sister-in-law JeriAnn Stoklas and her husband Garry Stoklas of Imperial, California and numerous nieces and nephews.
A very private, humble person by nature, it was her wish that her body be cremated and that no services or ceremonies should be held to mark her departure.
