March 31 is the last day that owners of Mexican-plated cars can take advantage of discounts on their annual vehicle registration fee (refrendo).
The third and final discount of five percent is offered throughout this month. The charge is 467 pesos instead of the full fee of 492 pesos.
Late payment charges are applied from the beginning of April.
Payment can be made at any of the state’s 134 collection offices (recaudadoras estatales), banks, as well as Chedraui, Comercial Mexicana, Farmacias Guadalajara, OXXO and Seven-Eleven stores.
