Revisiting medieval times

The Festival Medieval de Jalisco takes place in the Club Hípico Hacienda Santa Anita, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga on Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18. 

Adults tickets at the gate cost 300 or 650 pesos, for children, 200 or 450 pesos.Organizers say you can expect to see and experience the following events and activities: jousting on horseback; medieval folk music; falconry exhibitions; Medieval, Viking and Nordic weddings, ceremonies, dances, battles and games; a Medieval, Viking and pagan market; mead and craft beer stalls; witches dances; a fire show; “magical animals,” a Medieval camp and a torchlight processions.

The festival will provide a food area, parking, restrooms and a camping zone for those who wish to stay overnight.
