Chapala’s Instituto Tecnologico Superior (ITS) is undergoing a change of management with Gerardo Fabian Pantoja Ramirez taking charge as the institution’s general director.

Prominent Jocotepec businessman Heriberto Ibarra Galvez died in a Guadalajara hospital on the evening of Tuesday, June 18, while undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound to the head sustained during a botched a kidnapping that occurred earlier in the day.
