Budget woes focus of UdeG mega-march

Students and academic and administrative staff from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) gathered at five points in the metropolitan area Wednesday to march to the city center in protest at perceived budget cuts approved by the State Congress a day earlier.


Guadalajara International Book Fair back with a bang

The Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) will return in all its mammoth grandeur this year, with around 3,000 literary, academic, scientific, cultural, professional and children’s and youth activities planned over its nine-day run from Saturday, November 26 to December 4.
