St. Andrew's Outreach
St. Andrew’s Anglican Church held its semi-annual Outreach Grant Awards ceremony, Sunday, May 4, awarding more than 388,000 pesos in grants in the areas of health, education and community care, specifically for local in-need children, women and families.
Cabañas tour
The Lake Chapala Society is hosting a tour of the Cabañas Museum in Guadalajara on Wednesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A bilingual guide will lead visitors through José Clemente Orozco’s powerful murals, the stunning neoclassical architecture, and current temporary exhibits. After the tour, participants will have free time to explore downtown, visit the Cathedral, relax in the Plaza de Armas, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Tickets are available at lakechapalasociety.org.
