The Lake Chapala Society board of directors has issued an “Official Statement” regarding irregularities that occurred during the March 17 Annual General Meeting (AGM), and what has been happening behind the scenes in the aftermath.

Kids’ Easter party at Lake Chapala Society

A new and exciting free activity for children in the Lakeside community is coming this April, organized by the Lake Chapala Society (LCS). The Kids’ Easter Party will take place on Saturday, April 11, offering an afternoon of creativity, games, and a classic Easter Egg Hunt designed especially for children. A light refreshment will be provided.

Don’t forget our memory-impaired neighbors

Lakeside DayBreak Dementia Support has announced back-to-back activities planned for next weekend as the group moves forward in creating greater awareness and building a unique dementia-inclusive community.

2026 Amigo Cup: sun, scrambles & success at Chapala Country Club

The 2026 Amigo Cup returned to the Country Club de Chapala on February 26, and the conditions couldn’t have been more perfect. Under beautiful sunny skies, 75 participants took to the fairways in a high-energy scramble format, all united by a shared goal: supporting the life-changing work of Kids And Their Future.
