Goethe Institute Mexiko, the Mexican branch of an organization funded by the German government for the promotion and dissemination of general German-ness around the world, will re-open its Guadalajara branch after a near decade-long absence.
What may be for some a day to celebrate the life of a certain loved one, it should come as little surprise that not everybody’s father is still bestriding the surface of the earth - that is, unless somebody decided to take his or her recently deceased pater familias down to the taxidermist and have him arranged in a mid-stride pose, stuffed and placed next to the mantelpiece.
Officials at the Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) are the authorized agents responsible for handling the immigration matters of foreign citizens, says Ricardo Vera Lira, chief of the agency’s regional headquarters in Guadalajara.
