Car thieves making hay
Guadalajara is reeling under a spate of car thefts. In the first six weeks of 2012, there were 1,227 complaints of car theft made in the metropolitan area, a 44.35-percent increase from the 850 complaints filed in the same period last year. This equates to 26.6 stolen automobiles per day, more than one every hour.
