Maestros del Arte
The board of the Feria Maestros del Arte has determined this year’s date and location for the festival. The event will return to the Chapala Yacht Club for the weekend of November 15-17. Auditorium acoustics
Hooray for the improved auditorium. The appearance and acoustics are much improved thanks to the efforts of Pro Auditorio and the contributions of members of Lakeside musical organizations. All agree that the money was well spent!
Aztec
Make a date for the Aztec Studios on Sunday, March 3, noon to 4 p.m. Show up and share a drink and snacks with artist Janice Kimball and enjoy the beautiful pre-Hispanic-type weavings that have been marked down 50 percent. Also view a new collection of contemporary wall pieces that will be marked down 30 percent.
The choir
Los Cantantes del Lago, Lakeside’s professionally directed choir, is staging a concert on Tuesday, March 12, 7 p.m. and Wednesday, March 13, 4 p.m. at Auditorio de la Ribera del Lago in La Floresta.
