The Archdiocese of Guadalajara has stated that RomanCatholic churches will continue to perform Masses, although the service should be suspended if there is indication of contagion.

ECOLOGY FESTIVAL

Guadalajara’s Parque Mirador, overlooking the Huentitan Canyon on the northern edge of the metro area, is hosting its first Ecology Festival Sunday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Scheduled activities include live music, an art exhibition, gastronomy zone, crafts for sale, a holistic pavilion,free workshops, yoga master classes. Local Dems to meet

The Guadalajara Chapter of Democrats Abroad hosts its annual general meeting Saturday, February 22, 5-7 p.m. at La Bocha Restaurant on the Glorieta Chapalita. 

Celebrity judges from Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta have been recruited for the Talent Show Grand Finale Sunday, February 16 at the Auditorio de la Ribera, 7 p.m.

Mexican Pastora Mary Loera and her Colorado-born husband Owen Walcher host a bilingual service each Sunday, 6 p.m., at the Iglesia Centro Cristiano Agape, Nudo de Cempoaltepetl 842, Colonia San Marcos, about three kilometers northeast of Guadalajara Centro.

Ben LaBolt, one of the foremost political advisors and communications strategists in competitive U.S. elections, will be the keynote speaker at the Democrats Abroad annual general meeting on March 28.
