Valet parking at GDL airport
Valet parking will soon be introduced at the Guadalajara International Airport, according to operators Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (GAP). The new service should be in operation by the ends of 2014.
Govt. services at Mind
The recently opened Mind (Mexico Innovation and Design) building around the corner from Expo Guadalajara will offer a bevy of government services from next week. They include offices of the National Entrepreneurial Institute (Inadem), ProMexico (an arm of the Secretariat of the Economy that promotes international investment in Mexico), Bancomext (federal financial institution that helps small and medium size businesses to export) and the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público (Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit), all with operating hours Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, an office of the Ministerio Publico Federal (Public Prosecutor’s Office) will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Borra Cafe occupies part of the ground floor and is open to the public.
