CareMongering-LakeChapala is a local Facebook page that went live this week with the aim of sharing and organizing grassroots action as the community faces the growing threat of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Here's a list of some events at Lakeside that have been cancelled, postponed or suspended. The list is not complete, and will almost certainly grow as the week progesses. 

The national strike #UnDíaSinNosotras that took place nationwide on March 9 was partially echoed in Chapala, where women were notably absent from public, banking, educational institutions, but less so out on the street and in marts of trade.
