Images of Rogelio, a Chihuahua dog who not only attended his owners’ wedding but also signed as a witness to the marriage have gone viral.
According to his owners. the dog’s footprint is part of the official document verifying the union in the state of Sonora.
It is not clear whether “a human” witness was also required. The couple said that since they consider Rogelio as their son, it was only appropriate that he be part of the wedding ceremony on January 17.
