A film cycle featuring the work of screen legend Marlene Dietrich runs Fridays in November at downtown Guadalajara’s Ex Convento del Carmen Videosala.
The German-American actress and singer traded on her glamorous persona and exotic looks to become one of the highest-paid actresses of the 1930s and 40s.

Friday, November 13: Angel (1937), directed by Ernst Lubitsch, with Marlene Dietrich, Melvyn Douglas, Herbert Marshall. 91 minutes.
Friday, November 20: The Spoilers (1942), directed by Lewis Seiler, with Marlene Dietrich, John Wayne, Randolph Scott. 91 minutes.
Friday, November 27, Seven Sinners (1940), directed by Tay Garnett, with Marlene Dietrich, John Wayne, Albert Dekker. 87 minutes.
