The Magnificent Seven

Seven gun men in the old west gradually come together to help a poor village against savage thieves. A copy of a copy (the original was the Japanese “Seven Samurai” made in 1954), this film’s first Hollywood version had Yule Brenner as the leader and came out during the presidential campaign of 1960. Now Denzel Washington is the crusader just before the election that will decide the legacy of President Barak Obama. Director: Antoine Fuqua.
