Cultural activity resuming in Zapopan

The Zapopan Youth Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Rodrigo Sierra Moncayo, gave a live concert at the Constitución Cultural Center on October 14.

This was the first event at the center since the auditorium shut its doors back in March. In total, 90 tickets were made available for the performance.  Audience members had their temperatures checked and answered a short questionnaire before entering, and were seated well apart.  The orchestra played a program featuring works by Tchaikovsky, Arensky, Elgar and Bartók.

Meanwhile, the Zapopan Art Museum (MAZ) has opened its doors with the exhibition “Celeste” featuring work by artists Gabriel Rosas Alemán and María Fernanda Camarena. The show includes seven large- and medium-format paintings and three ceramic pieces.
