Exhibits
•Centro Cultural Ajijic opens “Arte Organico,” a first solo exhibit by local muralist and painter Mario Ramírez Saturday, June 27, 5:30 p.m. The exhibition features more than 20 new works in acrylic, watercolor, oil and mixed media. The Ixtlacateotl folkloric ballet and Mariachi Juvenil de Axixic will perform on the esplanade during the opening.
• Local artists Rigoberto Navarro and Efrén González celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Ajijic Museo de Arte (AMA) with a new exhibit of sculpture and paintings. The new exhibit also showcases the rotation of works from the entire AMA collection, representing dozens of Mexican and foreign Lakeside artists. AMA is located at Flores Magón 3, West Ajijic, open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
