Lakeside Conservatives welcome ‘America’s Voice for Energy’

Marita Noon, executive director of Energy Makes America Great, Inc. and the Citizen’s Alliance for Responsible Energy, will be the featured speaker at the Wednesday May 13, 4 p.m. meeting of the Lakeside Conservatives Group at the San Juan Cosala Raquet Club.

In her second visit to the group, she will share her latest insights and discoveries on recent energy developments.

Noon, who lives in New Mexico, is known as “America’s Voice for Energy” and is also a columnist for RedState.com and a regular contributor for many online sites, including Canada Free Press and Net Right Daily, and other websites and newspapers.

Energy Makes America Great Inc. – together with its companion educational organization, the Citizens’ Alliance for Responsible Energy – is a lobby group funded by New Mexico oil and gas industry interests. Together they work to educate the public and influence policy makers regarding energy, its role in freedom, and the American way of life.

As a conservative commentator and energy expert, Noon has authored 20 books (written under the pen name Marita Littauer), mostly on communications and Christian living. Her last book, “Energy Freedom,” is her first in the current affairs genre.

According to Gerges Scott, executive director of New Mexico Energy Forum, “Marita is a go-to source on energy issues; her ability to break down technical jargon allows everyone to understand and support domestic energy, which is vital for the industry and more importantly consumers.”

Guests are welcome to attend  the monthly meeting along with members. The program starts promptly at 4:15 p.m. in order to complete the meeting by 6 p.m. Handicap parking is available on the east side driveway in back of the clubhouse. Refreshments can be purchased.
