José Milagro, the Chapala youngster who underwent surgery at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Mexico City back in July, continues his recovery with the fitting of custom-made orthopedic braces this week after removal of the painful full-leg casts he has worn for the last eight weeks.
On behalf of the Lake Chapala Shrine Club, Chapala Expat Liaison Héctor España reports that the valiant boy is now undergoing rehab therapy and has already taken his first 10 steps.
