The program celebrating the 482nd anniversary of the founding of Guadalajara includes a Magno Remate de Libros (Great Book Sale) in the city center from Monday, February 26 to Sunday, March 10.
Books, including comics and graphic novels, will be discounted between 50 and 70 percent, organizers say, while various presentations by authors are planned. Local, national and university publishers will be selling their tomes. This book festival takes place on the Paseo Alcalde pedestrian walkway, between calles Pedro Moreno and Morelos, daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
