Critter food drive
With the cooperation and hospitality of Geoffrey Kaye of the Animal Shelter, Animal Buddies representatives will be present at the Animal Shelter Pet food store on Thursday, June 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Those who purchase pet food will be helping the animals at the Shelter as well as Anita’s Animals or your choice of an animal rescue group.
Those who can’t make it to the food drive on June 21 can make a purchase of dog or cat food at anytime and designate which of the animal rescue groups should be the recipient. The Animal Shelter will hold your donation purchase for pick up.
Please let your designated rescue group know that there is a paid food purchase waiting for pick up at the Shelter. Because of the current high volume of kittens, there is a great need for kitten food right now. Please help Animal Buddies feed animals less fortunate than your pets.

St. Andrew’s Anglican
More than any other single topic, Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of God. Unfortunately, may people of faith think He was talking about a “pie-in-the-sky, bye and bye, when I die” Kingdom. It’s that understanding that this week’s sermon, “The Kingdom of God in a Handful of Dust,” seeks to correct. Sunday worship at St. Andrew’s is at 10 a.m. with a time of fellowship. Welcome and refreshment after the service. The church is located at Calle San Lucas 19 just a block south of the Carretera in Riberas del Pilar.
