Dear Sir,
This is an open letter of thanks to all in the community.
Please accept the sincere appreciation of the Cruz Roja Chapala Consejo (board of directors), employees and volunteers. Mexican businesses, international volunteers, organizations of both communities and individuals have helped to temporarily avert a crisis impacting emergency medical care at Lakeside.
Ongoing support of so many individuals via bus trips, raffles, the golf tournament, impromptu fundraising events, the “Thriller” dance, a charreada, as well as direct donations both locally and internationally, prevent naming individuals, but we thank you all.
Support is always going to be needed to prevent another crisis and we thank you for your continued support. The Consejo is also taking a number of steps to lower overhead, reduce unnecessary inventory, improve cash flow and solicit consistent donations.
Details of changes will appear in the near future via the local Mexican and English-language media. We are here to serve the community and thanks to you we can continue to do just that.
