Dear Sir,
Some of the people who have chosen to live in Mexico need to get a life. “Live” and “life” being the key words here.
I live in a so-called “upscale community.” My house backs on to Allen W. Lloyd Rd. My tranquility is disturbed by people going up and down this road at all hours of the day and night. There is a farmer across the road with cows, horses, goats and numerous dogs, all of whom disturb my tranquility at all hours. There is a school a half-block away with children disturbing my tranquility all day. Mass is given by loudspeaker at the local cemetery a half-block away as early as 6 a.m., also disturbing my tranquility. People in San Antonio are constantly celebrating something and thus disturbing my tranquility.
Mexico is rated as one of the happiest countries in the world. I feel it is because the people of Mexico LIVE. That’s why I came to Mexico, for the people and the culture. Mexicans, as a whole, are the kindest, most giving people I have ever met. I have traveled a good portion of the earth and have never experienced a country like Mexico.
If you came here for tranquility, you picked wrong. Mexico is about life and living. Don’t try to change it to suit your concepts of what “life” is.
