Dear Sir,
Even though advised not to, our recent house guest carried her passport, license, other documents, and extra travelling money in her pocketbook.
After enjoying a nice Italian dinner at the La Taverna restaurant in Ajijic, she neglected to pick up her pocketbook when we left the restaurant. It was not until the afternoon of the following day that our house guest realized what happened. I panicked when she informed me that she had lost her pocketbook, hadn’t recorded her document numbers anywhere, and hadn’t made photocopies of them.
I am very pleased to report, however, that when we rushed to La Taverna, the manager had her pocketbook safely locked away, and everything was still in the bag.
Another example of wonderful Mexican people!
