Dear Sir,
We are exposed to so much talent in Mexico: the amazing mariachi bands, the incredible and imaginative artwork, the weaving, the embroidery, the unsurpassed tastes of culinary masterpieces, the deep and resonating songs, the folkloric dancers, the copper pieces, the gardener’s beautiful flowers, a cobblestone street laid with bare hands, the silversmiths crafts ... the list goes on and on.
But there is one talent that goes unnoticed by many of us unless we have ridden the (lakeside) village buses. These drivers are remarkable in so many ways. They are not unhinged by the ever increasing traffic jams, they are polite to a tee with each passenger, but most of all they can maneuver down a cobblestone side street and pass through what seems like the eye of a needle as they squeeze through posts and parked cars with mere inches to spare and never once taking on a scratch or a dent. They are simply amazing throughout their daily runs. Gracias to all the talent in Mexico and this includes those very talented drivers.
