Wine lovers visiting last weekend’s Vid Forum fair enjoyed the opportunity to taste and stock up on dozens of different labels from around the globe.
The first-time gourmet fest organized by the municipal government’s Grandes Eventos office was a bit rough around the edges, with little variety in the dining area and business so brisk at the Saturday opening that exhibitors ran out of samples before sunset.
One stand featured two varieties of Lago Rojo made from raspberries cultivated in the fields of Jocotepec, plus Coxala brand non-alcoholic organic ginger beer and turmeric tonic brewed in San Juan Cosalá.
