Mexico's 'Super Clasico'

The Super Clasico, the most religious of contests in the Mexican soccer calendar, fittingly takes place in Guadalajara on Easter Sunday this year.

Twice a year, the biggest rivalry in Mexican soccer is played out between the country’s two most popular teams: Chivas de Guadalajara, and America, from Mexico City.

America is enjoying a strong season and currently sits in fifth position in the league table, just four points off the top spot. Chivas endured their worst ever start to a season, but they are unbeaten in six games since appointing Dutch legend Johan Cruyff as an advisor, and now stand a realistic chance of making the playoffs.

Tickets are on sale now, ranging from 150 to 880 pesos. As of Thursday afternoon they were still available. Buy online at www.estadioomnilife.com.mx or in person at the following locations:

- Omnilife store, Av. Americas 268 (in front of the Hospital del ISSSTE) Col. Loma Blanca.

- Omnilife store, Av. Patria 328, Col. Jardines de la Patria.

- Chivas store, first floor of Plaza Galerias (next to Liverpool) on Av. Vallarta.
