Although retired from competitive golf, former world number one Lorena Ochoa will play some professional events this year.
Ochoa will play in her own hometown tournament, the LPGA Lorena Ochoa Invitational, at the Guadalajara Country Club, in November, as well as the Ladies European Tour’s French Open at the beginning of October. Ochoa missed last year’s event in Guadalajara as she was pregnant with her first child. Now living full-time in Mexico City, Ochoa dedicates most of her time to her charity foundation and business interests, and is the host of a 30-minute golf program on CNN Español.
