Tennis great Rafael Nadal made another giant leap to regaining his top form after crushing fellow Spaniard David Ferrer 6-0, 6-2 in the final of the Mexican Open in Acapulco on March 2.

Nadal was out of action for seven months with a knee injury before making his comeback at the Brazilian and Chilean Opens in recent weeks.  From March 4-17 Nadal will test his knee on the hard courts at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California (often called the fifth grand slam), where he will come up against longtime rivals Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
