After topping their respective first-round groups, both the Chapala men’s and women’s soccer teams have advanced to the knock-out stage of the 2023 Copa Jalisco tournament - the state’s top competition for amateur teams.

Chapala Varonil racked up 21 points with six wins, two losses, two ties, and 34 goals scored in their favor.

Chapala now plays Totatiche on the road on June 25, with the home game scheduled a week later. Chapala Femenil remained undefeated in the group stage, with eight successive victories, scoring 36 goals.  The upcoming schedule for women has not yet been announced.
