As expected, the United States, Mexico and Canada occupy three of the top four places in the medal table of the 2023 Panamerican Games taking place in Santiago, Chile.
As of Wednesday, November 1, the United led the table with 191 medals (84 golds, 49 silvers and 58 bronzes), followed by Brazil with 136 (40, 53, 43), Canada with 116 (35, 34, 37) and Mexico in fourth place with 94 (35, 23, 36). Host nation Chile are in seventh place with 43 medals.
Almost 7,000 athletes from 42 nations are participating in 39 sports in the 2023 games, which began on October 20 and will finish on November 5.
