The Charros de Jalisco softball team are tied 1-1 with the Sultanes de Monterrey in the final series of the inaugural season of the professional Liga Mexicana de Softbol (Mexican Softball League).

The Charros and Sultanes shared wins Tuesday and Wednesday in the first two games of the five-game final series, known as the “Serie de la Reina,” at the Panamericano Stadium in Zapopan. Both games finished with scores of 3-1.

The action shifts to Monterrey for the third and fourth games, and a fifth, if needed.  The series resumes at the Estadio Mobil Súper on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16, with both games starting at 8 p.m.  Should the championship go down to the wire, the final game will be on Sunday, March 17.
