Amy Scanlon (3rd from right, back row), the U.S. Consul General in Guadalajara, participated in the fourth Collegiate Invitational Women’s Golf Tournament hosted by the University of Virginia at the Guadalajara Country Club. 

The tournament involved institutions such as the University of Colorado, Florida State University, the University of Georgia, the University of Houston and the University of Washington. The competition, held on January 31 and February 1, “reaffirmed the ties between Mexico and the United States through sport,” Scanlon posted online.
