World Cup 2026: When, where & how to watch (Mexico, US, Canada, England, Scotland)

The 2026 World Cup group stage features 48 teams divided into 12 groups. The co-hosts, England and Scotland were drawn into the following groups, each playing three round-robin matches to secure a spot in the Round of 32, which begins on  June 28.

 

MEXICO (Group A)

Thursday, June 11, 1 p.m.: vs. South Africa (Mexico City). The opening ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, June 18, 7 p.m.: vs. South Korea (Guadalajara)

Wednesday, June 24, 7 p.m.: vs. Czechia (Mexico City)

 

CANADA (Group B)

Friday, June 12, 1 p.m.: vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina (Toronto)

Thursday, June 18, 4 p.m.: vs. Qatar (Vancouver)

Wednesday, June 24, 1 p.m.: vs. Switzerland (Vancouver)

 

UNITED STATES (Group D)

Friday, June 12, 7 p.m.:  vs. Paraguay (Los Angeles)

Friday, June 19, 1 p.m.: vs. Australia (Seattle)

Thursday, June 25, 8 p.m.: vs. Turkey (Los Angeles)

 

ENGLAND (Group L)

Wednesday, June 17, 2 p.m.: vs. Croatia (Dallas)

How to watch

Mexico’s free-to-air Televisa/Univision channels (Canal 5, Las Estrellas, TUDN, Nueve) and TV Azteca (Azteca 7, Azteca Uno) provide 32 matches, including the opening match on June 11, all Mexican national team games, and the final.

You can watch all 104 games with a modest subscription to the ViX digital platform.

Of the U.S. and Canada’s first-round games, only the U.S. opener against Paraguay will be shown on Mexico’s free-to-air channels.

In the United States, games are shown on Fox and Telemundo, and in Canada on TSN, CTV and RDS.
