Traffic victims remembered Sunday

The commemoration of World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims takes place on the third Sunday of November each year and was adopted by the United Nations in 2005.  This day is dedicated to remembering the many millions killed or injured in road crashes, as well as pay tribute to emergency crews, police and medical professionals who deal with the traumatic aftermath of road death and injury.

The Jalisco government will take advantage of the day to highlight the launch of a program designed to reduce the number of accidents caused by drink driving (see story page one).
