The Parque Metropolitano is hosting a graphic exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The display includes artwork created by children from around the world, along with cartoons from 27 Latin American cartoonists, including local favorite Trino and Argentina’s Quino, the inventor of Mafalda.
The show, titled “Girls and children have the right to have rights,” has been erected on weatherproof display boards running alongside the park’s pretty lake. It is definitely worth seeing if you are visiting the park. Shows until March 20. This large, popular park lies on the western edge of the metropolitan area and has no entry charge.
