Guadalajara City Hall has reintroduced checkpoints or filtros (filters) in the Historic Center as Covid-19 transmissions continue to rise.
People entering certain zones of the city center will have their temperatures taken, be required to apply hand gel and be checked to ensure they are wearing a face mask correctly.
In addition, the sanitization of public spaces will be reinforced, to include the Obregón and Medrano shopping zones, as well as the Abastos and San Juan de Dios markets and the Avenida Chapultepec nightlife “corridor.”
