The University of Guadalajara (UDG) General Council has approved the Income and Expenditure Budget for 2026, with a total amount of 19.3 billion pesos to be spent on strengthening the infrastructure and operation of university centers throughout the state.
Within this budget allocation, an investment of 22.8 million pesos was authorized for the Chapala University Center (CU-Chapala).
The budget initiative, approved December 15, includes 7.6 billion pesos in federal subsidies, 9.6 billion pesos in state subsidies, and 2.25 million pesos from UDG self-generated income.
