The Amazon Prime Video streaming service has arrived in Mexico and offers another option for viewing films and TV series.
Customers are being offered an introductory price of US$2.99 a month, for the first five months, after which the fee will be US$5.99.
Popular series available include “Mr Robot,” “Fear the Walking Dead,” “Community,” “Transparent” and “Mozart in the Jungle.” Although the film selection is less than Netflix’s, Amazon is now producing its own content, some of which is highly rated by critics.
All the titles can be viewed with their original soundtracks and subtitles.
There are versions for various formats, including PC, tablet and smartphone. They can be viewed in SD, or HD at a slightly higher cost. All new Samsung and LG televisions have pre-loaded Amazon Prime applications.
Customers are free to cancel their subscriptions at any time, the site confirms. See www.primevideo.com for more information.
